As border traffic across the Greater Bay Area reaches new peaks, the newly upgraded Huanggang Port is redefining traveler experience through cutting-edge smart border technology.

We are proud to highlight the latest evolution of Hong Kong Customs' AI Virtual Ambassador, "Xiao Hui", now deployed as an 85-inch, life-sized holographic interactive station.

Moving beyond conventional touch kiosks, this life-sized display brings an unprecedented level of realism, presence, and engagement directly to the clearance hall:

🔹 Life-Sized Holographic Experience: Standing at a natural 1:1 human scale with fluid facial expressions and gestures, Xiao Hui delivers an authentic face-to-face interaction that significantly elevates public engagement and trust.

🔹 Multimodal Interaction & Touchless Sensing: Commuters can effortlessly ask clearance questions via real-time speech recognition or interact seamlessly through dynamic touch and touchless sensor controls.

🔹 Trilingual Real-Time Support: Instant, frictionless switching between Cantonese, Mandarin, and English ensures international and domestic travelers receive clear guidance on customs regulations, prohibited items, and quotas within seconds.

🔹 24/7 Peak Flow Offloading: Especially during extreme travel rushes and late-night clearance windows, Xiao Hui acts as a tireless frontline assistant, offloading repetitive informational inquiries so customs officers can prioritize critical security and clearance operations.

At Asiabots, we are honored to continuously empower Hong Kong Customs in their journey toward next-generation Smart Customs. The convergence of conversational AI, generative knowledge bases, and large-format holographic displays marks a major milestone in modern GovTech deployment.

Next time you transit through the new Huanggang Port, make sure to say hello to Xiao Hui! 🌐
